NodeDistro VPN

FAQ

Straight answers.

Plans, keys, simulated locations, and what the service stores.

What does NodeDistro VPN collect?

Account, subscription, device, and session records needed to run the service. It does not store browsing destinations, page URLs, or the contents of your traffic. It is not an anonymous or zero-log service.

Is every city a live tunnel?

No. The directory lists planned and live locations. A row marked SIMULATED is a development record. Quick Connect will not assign a tunnel there.

Where does my private key live?

On the device. The Windows app or your own WireGuard client generates the keypair. The API receives the public key and returns a client config. Server private keys never leave the node.

Which apps can I use?

The Windows desktop app is the first NodeDistro client. macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android apps are not available yet. Any WireGuard app can import a config from your account.

What is included with each plan?

Device limits, regions, kill switch, split tunneling, advanced DNS, multi-hop, dedicated IP eligibility, and API access come from the plan catalog. A higher plan does not invent a server that is not online.

How do I get help?

Write to support@vpn.nodedistro.com from the email on the account. Include the device name and the time of the attempt. The service cannot look up sites you visited.

Create an account and connect a device.

The device keeps its private key. The API assigns a server that is actually online.
